Our Mission

For those of you who know us, you know that we've been searching for the path our Father in Heaven has laid out for us.  It has been a challenging, exciting, and even sometimes frustrating journey learning to listen for His will.  We've definitely enjoyed the growth during this season of our lives and are excited to walk more in His Spirit everyday.  We've recently felt a call in our spirits for our family to attend a discipleship training school (DTS) with Youth With a Mission in Kona, HI.  This DTS will be six months long.  Three of those months will be drawing closer to the Lord through teaching in a classroom setting accompanied by scripture study and prayer.  The last three months will be in the field outreaching to those in need.  You can see their site http://www.uofnkona.edu/.  As you could guess, with a family our size, the cost to attend will be significant.  But we believe that the Lord has called us to this and will provide for our need as he sees fit.  We started this blog to let everyone know about the path He's leading us on and we would love and cherish your support.  There will be a few ways you can support our mission.  Your prayers are essential and would greatly appreciated.  Second, you can donate to support our mission.  And finally, we will be making items at home to sell online to aid in raising funds, so you'll have to check back soon to see what we've put on our shelves :)  We are so grateful for our friends and family and look forward to hearing from you all.
